The Answer to Every Camp Question You Have...

(or: waitaminute... isn't there already a group that does this exact same thing, that's free, everyday?)

Truth.  Almost everyone who joins this group is already a member of the Summer Camp Professionals on Facebook. 

Camp Mavericks are the kind of folks who are willing to pay a small annual fee to have a space where they can share ideas, have a great app for their phones and get to enjoy lots of the extra benefits of membership (see below). 

They also enjoy that the discussions they need to find are easy to search!

1. Meet people like us. Join our community to meet Camp Mavericks like you like you who share your interest in making the Summer Camp industry grow, who live near you, who do the same kinds of camp things, or who care about the same topics.
2. Make better decisions. Learn how to make better, more well-informed decisions about the camp topics that are most important to you.
3. Find inspiration. Find a little inspiration, thought-provoking conversations, and expert perspective each and every day.
4. Share stories. Swap stories, experiences, and ideas (not necessarily advice) around our shared mission.
5. Get answers. Navigate topics that don’t have easy or obvious answers (the stuff you can’t Google).
6. Have an impact. Actively contribute to the community we're building online and in real life so that Summer Camp can have a positive impact on the world.

• Roundtables on the major topics of our industry
• Monthly Lighting Learning (maybe called Around the Campfire?) - 10 minute practical-only presentations - 7 minutes of presentation, 3 min. of questions - all follow-up questions in forum (recorded)
• Brave space conversations on difficult topics
• Hosted Sections with BIG topic discussions in: Staffing, Marketing, Program and Facilities 
• Member of the Month interviews
• A Podcast "book" club
